Trying to dial in your wave? There are several factors that can manipulate the wave shape, size and length other than the wave setting itself.
You can try adjusting the boat speed, ballast levels, balance of the boat and also the boat’s path. Turning away from the side you are surfing will make the wave steeper, while turning toward the side you are surfing will give you a more mellow and forgiving surf wave.
