Two of our Team RNO members recently made national news in the boating press.
Our GM Jeff Husby was one of three guests appearing on the national PRO BOAT INSIDER PODCAST hosted by David Gee, former editor of Boating Industry magazine. Jeff appeared representing the national boating retail perspective as he shared RNO’s strategy and longstanding focus on promoting boating safety. Jeff was joined by Correct Craft CEO Bill Yeargin and the Water Sports Foundation’s Executive Director Jim Emmons who also shared what their organizations are doing to keep boaters safe on the water.

RNO Business Development Manager Rufino Cruz is also doing his part to promote boating safety on a national level.
Rufino is one of nine new representatives from the boating industry elected to serve on the prestigious Sea Tow Foundation National Boating Safety Advisory Council. He joins stakeholders from throughout North America representing many leading organizations and will collaborate with the group to develop ways to jointly support and promote safe boating initiatives. He just participated in judging the 2022 National Boating Industry Safety Awards which recognize the best boating safety campaigns in the recreational marine industry.
Rufino was also invited recently to join the editors of Boating Magazine for an all-day video test in Central Florida featuring a Regal 38 Fly powered by twin Volvo Penta Coastal Series 430 sterndrives.
