An Awesome Kick Off of Thigh High Surf + Wake Stop 1 Held in Clermont

Enthusiastic wake crowds gathered for the launch of the fourth annual Thigh High Surf + Wake Series proudly presented by title sponsor Regal & Nautique of Orlando the weekend of April 1-2 at the Clermont Watersports Complex. The first stop of the three-event series brought together wakesurf and wakeboard competitors of all ages and skill sets, along with cheering friends and family, for a fun contest and weekend chock-full of activities.  

Founded by wake sports legend, four-time X Games champion and RNO Sales Consultant Danny Harf, the Thigh High Surf + Wake Series’ mission is to provide aspiring wake sports athletes a stepping stone to high-profile events like the WWA Regionals, Nautique Nationals, Nautique Worlds and the Nautique Wakesurf Masters. Competitors enjoy the opportunity to ride behind the next-level Nautique G23 Paragon. 

“The goal is to give the Central Florida towed water sports community a place to congregate with other enthusiasts and have fun in a family-friendly, nurturing environment,” said Regal & Nautique of Orlando Owner and General Manager Jeff Husby. “Our team is proud to support our industry and the wake community by sponsoring this event and hopefully inspiring riders to take the next step in their journey.”
